ABOUT ME
I’m a football analyst, specialized in technical scouting, the combination of traditional scouting and data analysis. I’ve been working in this field since 2014.
I like identifying talent through match observation, as well as working with different kinds of data. I’m especially interested in data visualization, the creation of custom metrics, and advanced models for in-depth analysis of the game, at both collective and individual levels.
I am familiar with the entire ecosystem of professional football analysis, having worked for clubs and national teams, sports directors, coaches and physical trainers, data provider companies, football innovation agencies, and private equity funds.
I’m used to having a Senior role within the organizations I work for, with experience both as a Souting Coordinator and as an Analysis Leader.
I understand the importance of clear communication to professionals involved in relevant areas: footballers, coaching staff, sports directors, board members, and executives. I can create high-level presentations and reports, as well as interactive dashboards to drive decision-making.
I am a teacher at Sevilla FC’s Master’s Degree in Big Data applied to Scouting, and I’ve been involved in multiple football analysis courses and workshops. I have a Master’s Degree in Sports Big Data and countless certificates related to football analysis and data science.
I speak Spanish (native), English (highly proficient), Portuguese (upper-intermediate), and Italian (basic).
